Hakoya Lofts
mixed-use storefront retail
The Hakoya is a mixed-use project built with a series of smart, responsible features that began with site selection. The project reused a narrow remediated brownfield in a formerly blighted neighborhood to build a high-density community- and transit-oriented building. The building is located on an important corner—the end-cap to the N. Williams shopping corridor, which has exploded with businesses over the past few years, rivaling other nearby shopping and dining destinations on
N Mississippi Avenue and
NE Alberta Street.
Large, street-oriented commercial spaces, offered at a reasonable price, are heavily retail focused, inviting abundant traffic from a busy bike corridor (Portland’s second most used) and commuters along N. Williams.
